This is a method for testing the central and peripheral vision at 30 and 60 degrees of the visual field using 11 programmes which allow detection and follow-up of a wide range of eye diseases: glaucoma, neuritis of the optic nerve, neurological and neurosurgical diagnoses. Computer perimetry gives information about light sensitivity at each tested point of the retina.
